    Assistant Chief Medical Laboratory Technologist, Grade 11- University Health Services, UHS - 3 Positions

     AC/7/102/23 – 3 POSTS
    Job specifications

    • Bachelors degree or Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field
    • Three (3) years experience as a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist Grade 8/9/10 (DEF)

    Duties and responsibilities
    The duties of the Assistant Chief Medical Laboratory Technologist shall include but are not limited to:

    • Review patient reports/results for dispatch
    • Develop Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures
    • Manage Laboratory Quality Assurance/Assessment programs
    • In charge of various sections at the laboratory (Hematology, Chemistry, Immunoserology, Microbiology, etc)
    • Prepare laboratory operations reports
    • Perform any other related duties assigned by supervisor from time to time
