Terms of service –Permanent and Pensionable

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all the devolved surveying and mapping functions in the County;
• Oversees survey control observations and computations;
• Perform Conduct cadastral, adjudication, topographical, sub-divisional schemes, photo control engineering, surveys;
• Carrying out quality control, topographical, engineering cadastral;
• Oversee adjudication and general boundary surveys of the area within the county;
• Maintain, test, adjudication and certifying survey equipment that belong to the county;
• Set and maintain cadastral surveys;
• Prepares of survey annual work plan and budget;
• Manage sectorial property survey and developmen

Requirement for appointment

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying and Photogrammetry, Geomatics, Geomatics Engineering or any related field from a recognized institution;
• Certificate in computer applications and Geographical Information System (GIS);
• Affiliate/associate member of the institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK);
• Five years (5) experience in land surveying in public or private sector;
• Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
