A bachelor’s degree in computer science/information communication technology/ electrical or Electronic Engineering or any other ICT related discipline from a recognized Institution.
Served in the Public Service for a minimum period of five (5) years.
Obtained a Professional Certification in Information Technology or other related disciplines from a recognized certifying body.
Demonstrated professional ability, initiative, and competence in organizing and directing work.
Job Description
Planning and monitoring security alerts and incidents, investigating and responding to security breaches promptly.
Coordinate regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential weaknesses.
Liaise implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures across the organization.
Work closely with ICT and other departments to ensure compliance with security standards.
Manage user access controls and permissions, ensuring that access levels align with job responsibilities.
Regularly review and update access lists to maintain least privilege principles.
Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees.
Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
Manage and maintain security tools, including antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption tools.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and incident reports.
Generate regular reports on security metrics and key performance indicators.
