Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

• Monitoring all printing jobs; preparing work schedule sheets;
• Preparing machines; loading schedule for letter press and litho;
• Reporting faulty machines;
• Handling or proof-reading classified printing jobs;
• Ensuring quality control; supervising activities of Book Production,
• Security Printing, Lithographic Printing, and General Printing;
• Designing, programming and monitoring printing development programmes; and
• Ensuring implementation of planned printing activities.

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• KCSE C- (Minus);
• Diploma in Printing Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Computer literacy;
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
