    Assistant Director, Technical Services

    Job specifications
    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    • Coordinating the preparation of cost estimates for proposed electronic/electrical programs in the Institute;
    • Ensuring that documents are prepared in accordance with proposed specifications/requirements;
    • Undertaking preventive and corrective measures in the maintenance of the
    • Institute’s technical equipment and systems;
    • Making recommendations on the purchase and installation of technical equipment and systems;
    • Carrying out technical evaluation of proposed technical projects and equipment;
    • Ensuring proper storage of technical hardware and related software; and
    • Supervising the implementation of technical projects, commissioning and final acceptance of completed projects.

    Job specifications

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • At least 10 years’ relevant experience and 4 years in a management role;
    • Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya or relevant professional body;
    • Computer literacy;

    Senior Curriculum Development Officer, Special Needs Education -Visual Impairment

    Assistant Director, NRC & Resource Mobilization

     Job Specifications
    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    • Implement the NRC policies and strategies;
    • Ensure implementation of an efficient financial management system at NRC ;
    • Prepare the department’s budgets and implement business plan and marketing strategy;
    • Implement strategies to enhance operations of the conference centre;

    Duties and responsibilities will entail: -

    • Developing and review of education broadcasting policy as it relates to electronic media;

    • At least 8 years’ relevant experience and 3 years in a supervisory role;
    • Be a Certified Information System Auditor (C.I.S.A);
    • Be Registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK);

    Assistant Director, Internal Audit

    Job Specifications
    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

    • Coordinating implementation of sound internal audit policies and strategies;
    • Coordinating the implementation of risk assessment framework; interpreting regulations of the Institute;
    • Allocating and coordinating audit assignments;
    • Coordinating implementation of audit plans, setting targets and budgets;
