Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Sales We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Sales. As the AVP of Sales, you will be responsible for driving our sales efforts and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure their success.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Understand client needs and industry trends to tailor solutions and provide exceptional service.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure a seamless sales process and effective communication.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Track sales metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest sales techniques and industry trends to continuously enhance sales skills and knowledge.
• Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven track record of 10-20 years in sales, with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage a diverse team and drive collaboration and motivation.
• Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as required.
