Audit and Tax Interns at Bon & Drew Associates

About the Role:

• As an intern at Bon and Drew Associates, you will gain hands-on experience in audit and taxation, working alongside experienced professionals. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn, develop technical skills, and build a solid foundation for a successful career in accounting and finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and conducting external and internal audits.
• Support the audit team in analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
• Help prepare tax computations and filing returns in compliance with Kenyan tax laws.
• Conduct research on tax laws, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for client engagements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the audit and tax teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (K)/ACCA coursework is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
