​​​​Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Plan, supervise, and review the work of audit juniors to ensure quality and efficiency in audit execution.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
• Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to management and clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements relevant to clients.
• Foster strong client relationships by providing excellent service and support.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (K)/ACCA certification or equivalent; membership with ICPAK is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a reputable audit firm.
• Experience in a manufacturing setup is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISAS, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in audit software (Knowledge of Draftworx Audit Software will be an added advantage) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and conducting external and internal audits.
• Support the audit team in analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
• Help prepare tax computations and filing returns in compliance with Kenyan tax laws.
• Conduct research on tax laws, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for client engagements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the audit and tax teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (K)/ACCA coursework is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
