Audit Manager at KCB Bank Kenya

The Position:

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the role holder will contribute to execution of the Audit Plan and provide assurance as required by KCB Bank South Sudan Limited and KCB Group Plc senior management on the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes to add value and improve organizations operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in Individual Audit Assignments.
• Conduct risk assessment for the development of annual internal audit plans
• Provide assurance that operations and processes conform to current policies and procedures.
• Identify control and process weakness, document main control points and provide support for report recommendations.
• Provide assurance that organization ‘s objectives and goals will be achieved efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain respectful and effective communications and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Present to management the results, recommendations, and conclusions of the audit reviews.
• Analyse operational and management processes and system controls effectiveness and efficiency
• Quality assurance review and implementation tracking of audit issues in Team-Mate system
• Teach, coach, develop and mentor team members in all aspects of the audit methodology

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in any business-related field from a recognized institution. A Masters’ degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Must possess professional qualification in CPA (K), ACCA, CISA & CIA
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of Auditing preferably in Financial Services Sector.
• Extensive knowledge of the Financial Services dynamics, International Financial Standards and local regulations.
• Sound knowledge of the business environment and economic dynamics of South Sudan and the East African region.
• Demonstrable strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage strategy, change, diversity, financial performance, productivity, champion customer focus, and manage people in a multi-cultural environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with all stakeholders while maintaining independence.
• A high level of business acumen and ability to display orientation to market dynamics and profit orientation.
