Machine Operator - Fresh at Avodemia Limited

Roles, Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensuring availability of good fruits ready for processing by liaising with the Fresh Production Supervisor.
• Coordinate receiving of fresh avocado from intake area to packhouse and ensure proper data is captured.
• Ensure the Fresh production machine is in good working condition before starting the shift.
• Ensure all staff in the shift are in good health before starting the shift.
• Coordinating with the Quality controllers on the floor on the quality of fruits received for processing and ensuring traceability is maintained.
• Assist the Fresh Production Supervisor train temporary staff on the production floor.
• Liaising with the Supervisor to meet the Avocado sizes specifications as per client requirements.
• To assist in daily shift planning and report writing.
• Attends to various machine maintenance and servicing issues and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure cold-room store is checked correct temperatures maintained in pre-cooling as per client requirements.
• At least 2 years Industrial experience in machine operation in a busy factory.
