Business Controller at Sistema Biobolsa

Your mission at Sistema.bio:

The Business controller is responsible for designing and developing financial modeling tools to build financial models for pricing, revenue and operating costs for Sistema.bio Africa. He/She will work closely with the Finance, Technical Operations and business development teams to evaluate business performance and build profitable forecasts for Sistema.bio Africa.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Evaluating  and understanding what is happening in the market and proactively working on updated forecasts.
• Building financial models based on historical information and other available industry specific metrics.
• Conducting scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to access risk in Sistema.bio Africa.
• Analyzing, studying business/project performance trends and timely communicating results to stakeholders through various reports, presentations and dashboards.
• Understanding and constantly evaluating existing business models  and creating new business models including financial models restructures.
• Understanding the strategies in different departments and offering financial advisory that will mitigate fiscal and legal risks in the respective market models.

More about YOU:

• You possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or any relevant field. Must have a Masters degree  or CPA or CFA.
• You have at least 5 years experience in financial modeling and reporting in regional markets in Africa.
• You are able to confidently work with complex data and systems.
• You have advanced excel skills.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are able  to work with people at all levels in the  organization.
• You are able  to build complex financial models.
• You are able to to analyze financial data to identify trends, improvement opportunities and risks. 
• You have analytical thinking  and problem solving skills.
• You have an interest in, and understanding of project management techniques.
• You are detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
