    Business Development Executive

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Generate and maintain a computerized customer and prospect database
    • Plan and carry out direct marketing and sales budgets
    • Close on leads and meet set sales targets
    • Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies
    • Drive community, professional and corporate member subscriptions
    • Responsible for brand management and visibility
    • Drive digital marketing campaigns and strategies
    • Supervise the digital media team to ensure they meet set targets
    • Build and maintain client relationships and business partnerships
    • Manage and service client contracts
    • Maintain and execute income generators for business
    • Write proposals, generate and close leads
    • Plan, execute and communicate the community calendar of events
    • Oversee quarterly production of community magazines.

    Person’s Specification

    • Must have at least 3 years of business development experience
    • Must be able to energetically drive business
    • Has a track record of meeting sales targets and demonstrable strong sales and marketing skills
    • Able to grow and maintain relationships
    • Possess great proposal writing skills
    • Strong knowledge of digital media management
    • Excellent understanding of brand management
    • Very good communicator both orally and in writing
    • Strong people skills and customer service orientation
