    Business Development Officer

    • Our client in the hotel industry is seeking to recruit a well experienced Business developer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, increasing revenue streams, and developing strategic partnerships within the hospitality industry.

    Responsibilities:

    Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and market trends.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to attract new clients, corporate accounts, and group bookings.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

    Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, client meetings, and presentations.
    • Work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth in accommodation bookings, event spaces, and other hotel services.

    Negotiation and Contract Management:

    • Negotiate and finalize agreements with corporate clients, event planners, and other partners.
    • Ensure that contracts and agreements align with the hotel's policies and standards.

    Collaboration with Departments:

    • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of business development strategies.
    • Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and yield strategies.

    Market Analysis and Reporting:

    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make informed business development decisions.
    • Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and business development metrics.

    Promotion of Hotel Amenities:

    • Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell hotel amenities, packages, and special offers to enhance the guest experience.

    Event Planning and Coordination:

    • Work with event planners and organizations to secure group bookings and coordinate events held at the hotel.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in business development within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
    • Strong understanding of hotel operations, services, and industry trends.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
    • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
