    Climate Change Officer I

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:-
    • Collecting and collating data and information related to Climate Change
    • Participating in awareness creation and advocacy
    • Secretary to Climate Change Unit
    • Writing periodic reports.
    • Performing any other duties as may be assigned.

    Requirements for Appointment
    For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;-

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Environmental Science, Environmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
