• Promotion of cooperative societies
• Training cooperatives
• Enforcing cooperatives legislation
• Advising cooperatives
• Cooperative credit administration
• Implementing cooperative development policies

For appointment to this position a candidate must have;

• Bachelor's degree in any of the disciplines: Cooperative management, Business Administration, sociology, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Banking or Management and organizational development from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in Computer Application
