Comic Design Interns at Afristec

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create engaging comic stories for the Lunna app.
• Develop characters, storylines, and scripts that align with the app’s theme and audience.
• Illustrate and design comic panels, ensuring high-quality visual standards.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new comic ideas.
• Assist in editing and refining comic content based on feedback from the design team and users.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into comic designs.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, development) to ensure cohesive content integration.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Illustration, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing comic art, character design, and storytelling abilities.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint).
• Excellent drawing and illustration skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Creative thinking and the ability to develop original story concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for comics, graphic novels, and digital storytelling.
• Basic understanding of animation and motion graphics is a plus.
