Commercialisation Systems for Science, Technology and Innovation at Kenya National Innovation Agency

This position requires a professional with skills and experience in Science, Technology and Innovation (ST&I) commercialisation. The person should demonstrate ability to guide KeNIA to achieve her mandate of developing and enhancing the national commercialisation system and infrastructure that effectively and efficiently facilitate taking ideas to market.

Qualifications

Experience in at least 3 of the following:

• Developing and evaluating national commercialisation systems.
• Converting new technological ideas and commercialising them by establishing startups, joint ventures, spin offs etc.
• Commercialisation Strategies, procedures, standards and policies.
• Technology transfer and IP exploitation.
• Strategic thinking and influencing change at the national level.

Professional qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in any relevant field with experience in commercialisation.
• A minimum of ten (10) years involvement in commercialisation programs and systems.
• Training in strategic thinking and change management
