Commitee Members (1 per Sub -County) (4)- Embu County Education Support Fund at Embu County

FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE SHALL BE: 

• To formulate policies for regulating the disbursement and management of bursaries, and scholarships; 
• To advise the Executive Member on bursary disbursements, & scholarships 
• To grant bursaries and scholarships 
• Approve the list of beneficiaries to be granted bursaries and scholarships; elo receive any gifts, donations, grants or endowments made to the fund and to make legitimate disbursements there from; 
• To determine the maximum amount to be awarded to the eligible student to be granted as bursaries, scholarships in a particular year, To receive and consider appeals for aggrieved applicant; and to perform any other functions for implementation of these regulations. 

QUALIFICATIONS. 

• A person 1s qualitied for appointment as a committee member if that person is: 
• A resident of the Sub-County one is applying in 
• Minimum education background K.C.S.E. or its cquivalent. 
• Must have a working experience either in education, Public Service and Administration or business for minimum of 3yrs.
