    Consultancy-Provision of Energy Audit

    About Workplace Energy Audit

    Oxfam International is undertaking the process of reviewing its energy consumption specifically utilization of electricity for the past three years with the objective of promoting the energy conserving design by improving the energy utilization efficiency in the operation of existing office use.

    In support of the work above it is required to develop a specific energy management guideline, also an evaluation of various energy consuming operations and procedures to determine energy saving opportunities need to be carried out. Therefore, energy audits will be conducted to establish the baseline energy utilization performance and provide an estimate of the costs for the last three years. Moreover, the audits will determine and assess any wasteful as well as energy conserving practices, operations and procedures.

    SCOPE OF WORK

    The consultant will be required to:

    • Review the existing energy operational characteristics of the building: Through a series of meetings and site visits identify and establish the energy operating characteristics of the facility, energy system specifications, operating and maintenance procedures, preliminary areas of investigation, unusual operating constraints, anticipated future expansions or changes, and other concerns related to energy facility operations.
    • Review existing energy documentation and management practice: All available facility documentation is reviewed with site representatives (where possible). This documentation should include all facility operation and maintenance procedures and logs, and utility bills for the previous 3 years.
    • Detailed inspection of site and preliminary energy audit: After a thorough review of the building, operation and management documentation, the major energy consuming processes in the facility are further investigated. The inspection and energy audit shall focus on all passive and active systems available on site. The report will recommend a series of no/low, medium and investment grade measures.
