Content Creator Intern at Powwater

We are looking for a creative and hands-on content creator intern to help in creating real-time content and digital campaigns for PowWater. 

You are someone that is very aware of trends and current conversations on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. You equally love creating content and engaging with the digital community.  We have a mascot by the name Pow! You are required to own his character and perform during events, appearances and PowWater’s social platforms. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Own Pow’s character as a Mascot during events and on all PowWater social platforms
• Work closely with the social team in creating content and campaigns that are thought-led, engaging and relatable. 
• Stay up to date on social trends on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
• Suggest new ways and ideas to increase PowWater’s brand identity and recognition.
• Help in writing copy in Pow’s laid back voice for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
• Help to monitor and report on the digital performance of PowWater’s social platforms and respond to comments & messages.

You should: 

• Be open minded, proactive and bold with fresh ideas and trends
• Be active and have an engaging following on various social platforms - including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin. 
• Be a great storyteller and communicator. 
• Be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Have at least 1 year experience with a consistent and active presence on social media with a brand or your personal account. 
• Be a passionate believer in our mission to empower the world through sustainable safe water in Kenya and the world - living the PowWater values, representing the company in everything you do.
