Responsibilities

• Product Copywriting
• Develop clear and concise product messaging across funnels and touchpoints.
• Write product feature explanations, customer value messaging, and product release content.
• Support UX/UI teams with microcopy for flows and customer journeys.
• Growth-Focused Copywriting
• Work hand-in-hand with the Growth Manager to create copy that increases acquisition and retention.
• Draft and optimize copy for paid campaigns, A/B tests, and conversion-focused landing pages.
• Tailor messaging for different customer segments, value chains, and product stages.
• Marketing & Brand Content
• Write landing pages, campaign pages, and marketing collateral (brochures, one-pagers, presentations).
• Develop clear and compelling advertising copy for digital and traditional ads.
• Create blog posts to strengthen education, relevance, and brand positioning.
• Ensure consistent brand tone, messaging, and clarity across all communications.
• Inbound & Customer Communications
• Develop SMS, WhatsApp, chatbot scripts, and automated customer communications.
• Write newsletters to improve customer awareness and engagement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience (agency, in-house, fintech, agriculture,, or service sector preferred).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across digital and traditional formats.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience writing in multiple tones and formats: product, growth, advertising, SMS, blog, collateral, etc.
• Understanding of performance-driven copy (for growth and conversion).
• Excellent command of English; Swahili proficiency is an advantage.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage high output in a fast-paced environment.
