Job Requirement

• Possesses Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized university.
• Be an Advocate of the High Court of at least three years post admission experience.
• Meets the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
• Demonstrates strong communication and reporting skills.
• Possess excellent research skills.

Job Description

• Drafting Bills and subsidiary legislation for introduction to the County Assembly.
• Reviewing of policy documents.
• Participate in the preparation of the County Finance Bill.
• Preparing advisory opinions on the propriety or otherwise of County assembly bills for assent.
• Identifying strategic priority areas that require law reform within the County.
• Prepare Acts of the County Assembly and Subsidiary legislation for publication.
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
