Credit Officer at Ukristo na Ufanisi Sacco Limited

The holder of this position will report to the Credit Manager. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Loan evaluation: Screen loan applications, analyze financial information, and evaluate credit and risk ratios to determine loan eligibility and potential risks. 
• Policy and compliance: Ensure all loans adhere to institutional policies and procedures, and that all relevant regulations are followed. 
• Risk management: Assess and mitigate potential credit risks associated with loans and monitor collateral adequacy. 
• Client interaction: Advise clients on suitable loan options, gather necessary financial documentation, and maintain communication regarding loan status and repayment schedules. 
• Loan administration: Process loan disbursements accurately and on time, manage loan portfolios, and coordinate collections efforts. 
• Reporting: Prepare reports and recommendations for management on the status and performance of the loan book.
