    Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700 x 1,470 – 41,170 x 1,520 – 42,690 x 1,710 – 44,400 x 1,920 – 46,320 x 2,000 – 48,320 x 2,290 – 50,610 x 2,350 – 52,690 p.m.

    Terms of Service: Permanent

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Be a Citizen of Kenya;
    • Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Anthropology, History, or a related field from a recognized institution;
    • Experience in heritage management and artifact preservation; and
    • Strong organizational and research skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the preservation, cataloguing, and exhibition of cultural artifacts;
    • Coordinate research and documentation of local cultural heritage;
    • Design and manage public education programs and cultural exhibitions;
    • Ensure proper storage, security, and conservation of museum items;
    • Develop partnerships with heritage institutions and stakeholders; and
    • Manage daily operations of the South Eastern Heritage Centre.
