    Dean of Students

    Qualifications

    1. A Masters degree in Social Sciences or Education.
    2. A Bachelors degree in Social Sciences or Education.
    3. Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.

    Knowledge and Skills

    1. Guidance and counseling
    2. Excellent facilitation and Interpersonal Communication skills
    3. Public Relations
    4. Ability to understand, coordinate and oversee recreational activities
    5. Ability to administer first aid
    6. Understand the organization and operation of student’s welfare.

    Experience

    Three (3) years experience in Administrative position with the responsibility for managing student affairs and spearheading the organization of a variety of student activities.

    Main Tasks

    The officer will report to the Registrar in performing the following tasks:

    1. Guiding and Counseling students;
    2. Coordinating students welfare;
    3. Implementing students recreational activities;
    4. Coordinating students’ field attachment;
    5. Coordinates the registration of students and keeping their records;
    6. Attending to students’ issues
    7. Monitoring student behavior and developing strategies and action plans, as appropriate;
    8. Ensuring student support services such as medical care, etc, are adequate;
    9. Maintenance of office machinery used by students, e.g. photocopy/services and stationery;
