Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Debt Recovery Officer to join our dynamic team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of Mombo Sacco’s loanbook. This role involves working collaboratively with both internal and external teams to ensure efficient loan collection processes and strategies are implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute efficient loan collection strategies to minimize the Sacco's delinquency rates.
• Work closely with internal departments to track loan performance and address any areas of concern.
• Communicate with external recovery agencies to ensure that challenging collections are handled effectively.
• Manage follow-up processes with members to resolve overdue payments while maintaining positive member relationships.
• Ensure compliance with the cooperative regulations and standards while handling collection activities.
• Regularly report on collection activity, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improving the loanbook quality.
• Respond to queries and resolve issues related to loan accounts promptly.
