Job Description

• To supervise the assigned station / section. Produce a consistent, high-quality product, ensure a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with our standards, policies & procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
• Ensures that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely
• Assists in maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas         
• Ensures mise-en-place and preparation procedures are correctly followed
• Ensure daily purchases are used economically according to needs and established policies 
• Carry out stocktake and ensure actions are taken if discrepancies occur
• Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures

Qualifications

• At least 1 Year previous experience in a similar capacity
• Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
• Good knowledge on HACCP and other procedures in Food Production
