Job Description

• Preparing and implementing of the divisional budget;
• Managing of operations of the facilities in an effective and efficient manner;
• coordinating, planning and managing of events;
• Participating in letting of vacant properties and rent reviews;
• Repairing and maintaining facilities,
• Initiating the development and review of divisional guidelines
• Coordinating the implementation of the divisional guidelines;
• Developing long term and short-term Plans for various facilities programs
• Initiating interventions for refurbishment and modernization of facilities
• Ensuring optimal utilization of the facilities

Job Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:-

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years cumulative relevant work experience, three (3) at management level or in a comparable position;
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Physical Education; Sports Science; Exercise, Leisure and Recreation Management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized;
• Master’s degree in any of the following: Physical Education; Sports Science; Exercise, Leisure and Recreation Management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized;
• Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than (4) four weeks from a recognized institution
• Membership with a professional body in good standing, where applicable;
• Proficiency in computer applications;
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
