Director Roads and Infrastructure at Isiolo County Government

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

• At least a cumulative period of eight years’ (8) relevant work experience, three (3) of whichmust have been at the level of Deputy Director, Engineering (Roads) or in an equivalent andrelevant position;
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree in any of the following disciplines: Civil andStructural Engineering, or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
• Master's Degree in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management or its equivalent qualificationfromarecognized institution is an added advantage.
• Registration by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a professional Engineer:
• Registration as a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (MIEK);
• Valid Annual Practising License from the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
• Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks froma recognisedinstitution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence and administrative capabilityrequired for effective planning, direction, control and coordination of the engineeringroad’sfunction.
