Driver at Nexus Staffing Solutions

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for responsible, disciplined, and experienced Drivers to support daily transport and delivery operations within Nairobi and its environs.

The ideal candidates should possess excellent driving skills, a strong safety record, and a good understanding of Nairobi road networks and traffic regulations. They should be dependable, professional, and capable of representing the organization positively while on duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, goods, and company materials as assigned.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods and documents.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicles.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Ensure the security and safety of passengers, goods, and company property.
• Assist with loading and offloading where necessary.
• Support other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Kenyan Driving License with relevant driving classes.
• Minimum of 3 years of active commercial driving experience.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• KCSE Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and surrounding areas.
• Clean driving record with no history of major traffic offenses.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
