Electrical Engineer

This position shall ensure that all electrical installations in the company are properly and professionally done and maintained. The electrical engineer shall ensure optimal operation on the plant where electrical related breakdowns are eliminated and systems upgrade done according to the latest available trends related to the integrated circuits, VFDs HMIs and PLCs.

Responsibilities
- To ensure electrical safety shall be adhered to at all times and ensure all new electrical installations shall be done professionally as per available guidelines.
- To develop electrical schematic diagrams for the current existing installation and subsequently during additional installations and upgrades.
- Ensure all Preventive Maintenance related documentation shall be completed and signed off in time.
- To ensure regular monitoring of utilities and stablish the root cause of all breakdowns.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (additional post grad qualifications will be an added advantage)
- Registered Graduate Engineer by IEK
- More than 10 years’ experience in a factory / installation setup
- Strong problem solving, technical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
