Engineer II (Electrical) SK Grade 8 at Sports Kenya

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities will entail:

• Undertaking the maintenance of Electrical installations (Offices, sheds, estates, Flood lights, CCTVs, access Control Air-conditioning & refrigeration, solar power plant, Floodlights, Energy management, UPS, Fire alarm and Integrated Security System (ISS) are adequately supplied with power.
• Preparing electrical drawings and keeping custody of the same for all installations in the Stadium.
• Conducting site inspections
• Implementing preventive and major breakdown maint0enance plans for the division.
• Reporting on equipment and installations breakdown maintenance.
• Executing maintenance and Management of all Electrical installations.
• Providing information needed for safe operation of the Electrical equipment & installations.
• Performing statutory inspections and recommend certification of Electrical Installations in the Sports Kenya buildings, installations and berths.

Job Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
• Professional Membership to Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK);
• Proficiency in Computer Applications
