Factory Baker – Bread at Drema Food Industries

• We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Factory Baker to join our bread production team in Nyandarua. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing quality bread while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency.

Minimum Experience: 2 years
Salary: KSh 25,000 – 30,000 per month

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread according to production standards and recipes.
• Measure, mix, knead, shape, proof, and bake dough.
• Operate and monitor bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistent product quality and hygiene standards.
• Ensure the bakery production area and equipment are clean and well maintained.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and ingredient usage.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements & Skills

• At least 2 years of experience as a baker, preferably in a factory or commercial bakery.
• Good knowledge of bread-making and baking processes.
• Ability to operate bakery machinery and equipment.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Certificate in Baking, Food Production, Pastry, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Relevant practical baking experience may be considered.
