The Medical College offers Master of Medicine (M Med) degrees in Anaesthesia, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gyneacology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgery.
Currently the University offers fellowship programmes in the following specialties: Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology and Paediatric Neurology, Neurology and Nuclear Medicine.  The Aga Khan University Department of Medicine invites applications for the position of Full Time Faculty Cardiologist.

Successful applicants will join a growing and dynamic department committed to advancing best practice in their discipline, expanding services that meet quality and patient service needs within an internationally accredited university hospital with outstanding diagnostic services. Successful applicants will develop their academic career in teaching and research. In education there is a focus on resident training and fellowship programmes training and planned introduction of undergraduate training.

Requirements

• S/he must have Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(M.B.Ch.B) or equivalent
• S/he must be registered or eligible for registration with Kenya Medical Practitioners’ & Dentists Board
• S/he should have at least four (4) years’ experience in cardiology; three of which may be during a recognized fellowship and one of which should be a post fellowship. 
• S/he should have completed their fellowship in Cardiology or equivalent
• S/he should demonstrate competency and dexterity with all equipment utilized in the hospital environment
• S/he should demonstrate honesty, integrity, compassion and respect for diversity and applies ethical principles appropriately   
• S/he should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• S/he should conduct oneself in a professional manner and be a responsible ream player.
