    Field Enumerator (Somali Speaking)

    Responsibilities

    • Attend a training workshop to plan for research activities and familiarize with data collection, consenting tools and protocols
    • Assist in logistical preparation for consenting and data collection
    • Introduce the study to the participants and consent them into the program in the household
    • Administer data collection tools
    • Collect and submit data collected daily through a mobile application
    • Take care of assigned data collection tools and report any issues for action
    • Assist in any other field activities

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in English and Somali languages is a must
    • Degree in Health or Management Science, Sociology, Community Development or any other related field with 2 years of working experience
    • Prior experience with data collection
    • Proficiency in use of smart phone/tablet to collect data is desirable
    • Familiarity with research ethics and experience taking informed consent
