Field Marketers at PesaKit

We seek energetic and passionate field marketers who will be central to our field marketing campaigns. They will work closely with the company throughout the sales cycle, including registering, onboarding, and training mobile money agents, shopkeepers, and merchants on PesaKit to turn them into long-term customers. Are you seeking to be part of a great vision that propels the economic empowerment of mobile money agents? This is a Three-month casual contract with a possibility of renewal based on your performance. 

Roles of a Field Marketer

• Register, onboard, and train mobile money agents, shopkeepers, and merchants to use PesaKit. 
• Prospect and qualify new leads
• Communicate agents’ feedback and their pain points to the company
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with mobile money agents, shopkeepers, and merchants even as you take deliberate steps to introduce them to your account manager from, ideally, the day you onboard them.
• Negotiate with agents  on promotional display and merchandise placement
• Meet and/or exceed targets/quotas
• Educate agents on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
• Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and  market conditions
• Report daily on the status of field marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a minimum of a Diploma
• Must be ready to commence work immediately
• Possess an Android device and be tech-savvy
• Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills
• Good organization and administrative skills
• A strong team player
• Ability to perform with minimal supervision
• Conversational/interpersonal skills
• Field marketing experience is highly recommended
• Ability to adopt a flexible approach to meet targets and the needs of the business
• Applicants with previous experience in the field, especially with Safaricom, are highly encouraged to apply
