    Filling Plant In-Charge

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
    • Proven track record with at least 3 years of experience as a Plant Manager in the LPG industry.
    • Fluent in both English and Kiswahili, with strong communication skills.
    • Possession of a Certificate of Good Conduct.
    • Proficient computer skills.

    • Join our team at an esteemed LGP Company as a Plant In-Charge and play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our Filling Plant.

    Your Role:

    • As the Plant In-Charge, you'll be at the helm of our Filling Plant operations, ensuring every aspect runs smoothly, from product offloading to dispatch. 
    • Your focus will be on maximising stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Ensure adherence to procedures, fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Coordinate daily stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Collaborate with Safety & Security to mitigate risks and prioritise employee well-being.
    • Manage preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns.
    • Uphold product control standards, minimising customer complaints.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to prevent shortages.
    • Actively address safety concerns and inefficiencies.
    • Prepare daily reports for management decision-making.
    • Maintain documentation for fair appraisal processes.
    • Enforce safety and cleanliness standards.
    • Provide clear direction to the team, empowering them to excel.
    • Ensure timely completion of paperwork and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct daily shift brief meetings to align goals.
    • Optimise plant efficiency and minimise downtime.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO standards.
    • Meet filling output targets and gas loss benchmarks.

    Your Skills & Abilities:

    • You possess a talent for attaining peak efficiency and leading ongoing enhancements.
    • Proficiency in operating filling equipment and facilities, with strong technical expertise.
    • Sound understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity processes.
    • You lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
    • Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
