Finance Officer at GreenKenya Investment Corporation

The Green Kenya Investment Corporation wishes to recruit a Finance Officer. The officer will join a team of professionals and will be responsible for all financial matters including management of financial records, management of corporate investments, planning, budgeting, financial reporting and provision of advisory services on finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Preparation of work plans, procurement plans and cash flow plans.
2. Preparation, implementation and management of department and corporate budget (Development and income expenditure).
3. Management of money and near-money instruments.
4. Management of debtors and creditors.
5. Preparation and presentations of financial statements.
6. Ensure monthly and annual statutory compliance.
7. Implement the finance procedure manual

QUALIFICATION

1. Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce or related field.
2. Minimum: Certified Public Accountant CPA (K) with a valid practicing certificate.
3. Minimum: Member of ICPAK.
4. Minimum: A certificate in accounting packages including Quickbooks.

EXPERIENCE

• Over: 3 years in a busy finance office (exclude internships).
• At least: 2 years working knowledge of quick books. 
• Satisfy the provisions of Chapter six of the constitution of Kenya.
