Finance Intern at Springboard Capital Limited

ROLE SUMMARY.

Springboard Capital Ltd is looking for a Finance Intern reporting to the Finance and Administration manager. The role will provide support petty cash management, payment of vendors and processing payment among others.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensure all services rendered or to be rendered by the Organization are properly invoiced and promptly paid for.
• Assist in maintaining an up-to-date schedule of payments.
• Assist in ensuring timely dispatch of statutory and contractual payments.
• Ensuring all money received is properly receipted and promptly banked.
• Maintain chequebooks, process them, coordinate their banking and subsequent posting to the cashbook and general ledgers.
• Process payment vouchers and ensure proper approval before processing payment.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce finance option.
• CPA II.
• 6 months’ experience will be an added advantage.
• Multitasking ability and prioritization
• Good communication skills and customer service oriented.
