Finance Lead at Walk In Solutions

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for internal and external reporting, financial planning, product and channel profitability, statutory compliance and tax, finance controls

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for managing audits and reporting; Internal and external.
• Ensure compliance with policies; local and international and government regulations.
• Ensure tax compliance; VAT, Excise, PAYE, corporate tax, transfer pricing.
• Manage Internal controls by ensuring systems and process compliance (offline and online) Audit master files and GL accounts reconciliations.
• Accounts receivable management; Debt management, set and adhere to credit limits for customers.
• Accounts payable management; set credit terms, manage accruals and reconciliations.
• Cash flow management; Manage and follow up on collections, payout, bank balances, overdrafts.
• Member of EA Finance Leadership Team.
• Manage all Finance risks.
• Budgeting and forecasting; Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets.
• Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results.
• Coordination of month end close.
• Monitoring of BTL and ATL spends and overhead costs.
• Profit and loss management. Analyzing the performance and proposing action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
• Product and channel pricing, terms and profitability.

QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Financial Planning/Business Administration/Finance Related Course.
• CPA-K/ACCA
• 10 years’ varied finance related experience at least 5 at Senior Level
• FMCG experience
• Good ERP systems knowledge
