Finance Officer at Booch

We are seeking a Finance Officer with solid FMCG experience to manage and strengthen our finance function. This is a mid-level management role with a clear pathway to Finance Manager and ultimately CFO. The successful candidate will support a small finance team, ensure strong financial discipline, and act as deputy to the General Manager (also the current CFO) on all finance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s financial operations including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and customer statements.
• Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to support business growth.
• Implement and enforce financial controls, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accurate documentation.
• Provide strategic financial advice and deputize for the General Manager/CFO when required.
• Support and mentor junior finance staff, fostering accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders to safeguard and grow the business.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA/ACCA qualification required).
• Minimum of 7 years’ progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in FMCG.
• Proven managerial experience leading small teams in finance.
• Strong background in payables, receivables, and customer account reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• High integrity, resilience, and enthusiasm for building and growing a consumer brand.
