Duties and Responsibilities

Specifically, duties and responsibilities will entail:

• Participates in the budget making process including revision;
• Ensures safe custody of accountable documents;
• Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly and annual management reports;
• Reviews vote book entries and undertake monthly variance analysis;
• Conducts below the line analysis accounts;
• Provides support to technical departments during the budget making process through provision of up to date and reliable financial information;
• Monitors and follow up disbursement of funds from National Treasury and Planning.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• This is an entry level and training grade;
• Bachelor’s Degree  in  Commerce,  Business  Management,  Business Administration (Finance option) or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
• Meet provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

•  Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (Dully filled and completed first schedule (s.13) and self-declaration form stamped by the EACC.
