Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing financial transactions, and generating reports. The role involves reconciling bank statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and liaising with auditors. Additionally, the Financial Accountant will analyze financial data to support decision-making processes and provide financial advice to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate accounting records and managing financial transactions
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
