Financial Analyst at M-Gas

About the Job

• This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze and consolidate financial results for reporting to high-level management. Should be a self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and versatility in decision-making and problem-solving. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) 
• Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, return on assets, return on equity, and earnings per share. 
• Coordinate with other finance team members to review financial information and forecasts. 
• Agree/review business performance KPIs with the business heads. 
• Regularly populate data against the KPIs. 
• Analyze and interpret the data, identify trends, convert data into information, and share with the business heads and senior management. 
• Recommend actions based on the analyzed data. 
• Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by the management. 

Personal Attributes

• Advanced Financial Modelling skills. Ability to build complex models from scratch. 
• Strong financial analysis and critical thinking skills 
• Advanced skill level in relevant MS Office packages like MS Excel, PowerPoint 
• Ability to perform under pressure and toward strict deadlines. 
• Excellent communication skills. Confident in presenting to senior management. 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision. 
• Curious and interested in business, able to see the story behind the figures. 
• Demonstrated openness to change and ability to manage complexities and remain calm, and in control even under pressure.
