The Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall performance, utilization and profitability of the fleet. This role leads and coordinates the fleet team across rider onboarding, live operations, rider support and asset management, ensuring all components work seamlessly tachieve revenue, utilization and service quality targets
Responsibilities
Fleet Operations & Revenue Performance
Own fleet performance against revenue, order completion and utilization targets
Ensure optimal deployment of riders and assets tmaximize daily and weekly revenue
Track and improve KPIs including:
Asset utilization rate
Active rider rate
Orders per rider per day
Revenue per asset
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions quickly
Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead and manage the fleet team across:
Rider Onboarding
Live Operations
Rider Support
Asset Management
Ensure clear roles, targets and accountability across all sub-teams
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and capacity planning
Ensure strong collaboration between teams tavoid operational silos.3. Rider Onboarding & Activation
Ensure timely and efficient onboarding of riders in line with growth targets
Guarantee 100% account creation and platform activation for onboarded riders
Ensure riders are fully equipped with assets, safety gear, and system access before activation
Monitor onboarding quality treduce early churn and performance drop-off
Live Operations Management
Oversee daily fleet operations tensure:
High rider online availability
Strong acceptance and completion rates
On-time deliveries and service quality
Monitor real-time performance dashboards and field operations
Resolve operational issues that impact service levels or revenue
Rider Support & Retention
Ensure riders receive timely and effective support across operations, payments, and assets
Track rider satisfaction, retention, and churn metrics
Implement initiatives timprove rider engagement, productivity, and loyalty
Act as escalation point for complex rider or operational issues
Asset Management & Control
Oversee the full asset lifecycle: allocation, tracking, utilization, recovery and maintenance
Ensure:
100% tracker installation and asset visibility
High asset uptime and minimal downtime
Proper documentation and accountability for all fleet assets
Work closely with the asset team tminimize losses and maximize recovery. 7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Produce regular reports on fleet performance, revenue, utilization and risks
Use data tinform operational decisions and improvement initiatives
Continuously optimize processes tsupport scale and cost efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business or a related field
5+ years’ experience in fleet operations, logistics, mobility or last-mile delivery
Proven experience managing multi-function operational teams
Strong understanding of rider-based or asset-heavy business models
Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills
