Food Technical Sales Representative at IQVIA

POSITION SUMMARY

To manage and grow the customer in the agreed geography including Kenya in accordance with the Regional IQVIA Strategy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing relationships with key decision makers at both External customer and also Distributor levels
• Technical trouble shooting at bakery level, problem solving, resolving complaints
• Increasing sales volume and value for Bakery yeast, Consumer Yeast and Milling improver in Kenya (not limited to Nairobi).
• Understanding of complementary product sold by the distributor
• Achieving profit margins through price negotiations and product costing
• Reporting and tracking on market size, opportunity including competitors’ activities
• Tracking of Anchor sales and stock movement in the regions which assist in stock forecasting and planning
• Weekly submission of sales report which includes market opportunities and activities
• Market budget preparation
• Ability to travel which might extend to Uganda as product category increases

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualification in field of food technology /baking/sales and marketing advantageous
• Min 5 years sales experience
• Baking experience preferable
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Code 8 driver’s license
• Acceptance to be on call 24/7
