    Foundation (Early Years) and KS2 Teachers

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    1. Be a Diploma/Degree Holder in Education (Applicant with Degree/Diploma in ECD will have an added advantage).
    2. Registered by the TSC.
    3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching early learners.
    4. Demonstrate a strong passion for education and young children.
    5. Strong classroom management skills.
    6. A team player with good command in written and spoken English.
    7. Computer literate with ability to integrate ICT in all activity areas.
    8. Be conversant with IGCSE curriculum.
    9. Ability to teach across KS1 and 2 will be an added advantage.
    10. Females’ candidates are encouraged to apply.

    Job description

    1. Develop scheme of work and lesson plans in line with the school curriculum
    2. Prepare teaching aids to facilitate children learning
    3. Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
    4. Schedule stimulating and learning activities that meet the social, physical and emotional needs of the children
    5. Devise games and activities, and also provide playing equipment, and ensure the playing facilities and equipment are clean and safe
    6. Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing; and supervise them as they learn and play
    7. Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and provide a written report to the school leaders and parents.
    8. Monitor and keep record/ reports of the children’s progress and development
