Frontend Developer at APA Life Assurance Company Ltd

KEY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences and visually appealing interfaces
• Develop responsive and mobile-friendly webapps using HTML, CSS and javascript
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend website functionality
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern frontend technologies
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
• Work with the incident team to identify and address support issues, debugging and troubleshooting as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to implement user stories, write tests, and continuously deliver new/improved product functionality
• Use Agile engineering practices and various software development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the organization’s technology stack  Provide innovative solutions to complex business problems

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent work experience

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with aworking knowledge of Vue.js
• In-depth experience (3+) with application and user interface design and development
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and related front-end technologies
