Gardener / Farm Worker (Ithookwe Show Ground) at County Government of Kitui

Requirements for Appointment

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• At least 18 years of age and above;
• National Identification Card;
• Minimum of Primary School Certificate;
• Basic farm work and crop management knowledge;
• Physically fit and willing to perform manual labour;
• Punctual, disciplined, able to follow instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare showground demo plots (digging, weeding, leveling);
• Keep grounds clean and tidy;
• Assist in planting, watering, harvesting crops;
• Maintain structures, tools, irrigation systems;
• Control weeds and pests under supervision;
• Record daily farm activities;
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Sub County Agriculture Officer.
