General Manager – Community Building, Administration at Janta Kenya

Objectives of this Role

• Build and execute on the community strategy, roadmap, and success metric.
• Develop and implement incentive programs to promote engagement and growth of the community network.
• Build, Grow and engage global online communities across different channels to drive positive sentiment towards our client
• Continuously monitor our social media channels, and engage meaningfully with both our community and the wider crypto community as a representative of our client.
• Help scale and manage a team on projects, community moderators and managers
• Define the community roadmap, including realistic yet ambitious KPIs.
• Actively seek out and organize potential marketing opportunities, including collaborations, featured in media outlets, speaking opportunities, or advertising opportunities, and maintain these relationships
• Create strategies for interacting with various blockchain, crypto and communities to grow our following

Skills and Qualifications

• The ability to work autonomously and plan, create and develop communities by yourself
• 5+ years of experience in community management and building
• Passionate about web3, blockchain and NFTs, crypto.
• Strong understanding of the African gaming landscape: E-sports
• Published content in tech or crypto
• Proven experience in Media management funds.
• A proven ability to build and manage a large online global community and audience.
